Recently, Changsha housing and construction authority issued new measures to promote green construction and prefabricated buildings, requiring all new buildings to meet green building standards and raising the minimum prefabrication ratio.
The policy states that new government-funded buildings should fully adopt prefabricated construction, while privately funded projects should reach a prefabrication rate of at least 50%, with incentives in floor-area ratio and credit support.
